The easiest way to plan your education and career.
This Toronto based start-up builds web applications currently used by over 550,000+ students and educators across Canada. As the lead graphic and UI/UX designer for both the product and all marketing and promotional materials, I worked under demanding deadlines with a stellar team to develop the industry-leading tool for online education and career planning in Canada from concept to finished product. Most recently, I produced a series of promotional and training videos, and the “Have a Plan” concept that involved website design, print materials, copywriting, email newsletters and video marketing tools for the 2013 national sales campaign.

I was hired by Butterfield and Robinson, purveyors of luxury active travel, to design their 2007-2008 website campaign, as well as large-format panels and t-shirts for the 2007 Green Living Show. The updated website helped create interest in their latest globe-trotting offerings, and offered interactive web video demonstrations. The marketing material developed for the Green Living show drove traffic and mailing list signups at the B&R booth.
True Sport is a national movement for sport and community being lived daily across Canada. During the summer of 2008, I was approached by Ric Young of renowned social project studio E-Y-E to update the True Sport brand and website with vitality and renewed purpose. Launched in October 2008, the movement now has a dynamic and fully bilingual website, an extensive suite of printed materials and a critical public document - The True Sport Report - that will support and grow this important social movement. For this project, I delivered both a core set of design templates used throughout the site and a complete brand guidelines document to help with future marketing and promotional materials.
The Canada-India Business Council is a member-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to building trade and investment between India and Canada. Level was initially brought in to develop a new brand for the council, however, our partnership with the association continued for 3 years. The role evolved into shared creative direction duties on all Canada-India Business Council marketing and membership materials. Specific duties involved the design and maintenance of the website, photography and signage design at all conference and events, and research into the tools and technologies used by the target audience. Most recently, I completed a strategy review to further engage their audience and members through email campaigns and recommendations for a mobile optimized website.
While the Synaptive team works hard to create industry leading imaging solutions for neurosurgical planning, Level provides art direction and digital strategy for all their marketing, instructional and promotional needs. A recently launched website and poster campaign will spearhead the collaboration to establish this Toronto medical startup at the forefront of the industry. Upcoming projects include online video, mobile marketing materials, and interactives demonstrations on the website to support surgical training in minimally invasive neurosurgery.
I worked with consulting firm Medversive to develop web based prototypes for a future UHN instructional video portal. Based on the model of TED talks, the website will feature video instruction, presentations, and other specially created content to help physicians fulfill their required coursework and also allow individuals around the world to access the high level of teaching at UHN. The design process included user scenario development, interviews with physicians and technologists at UHN, wireframes and design mockups.
Casero needed a new website and promotional showreel to showcase their cutting-edge broadband services. Working closely with Casero’s marketing manager, I shared creative direction duties and helped design and build a new website that organized and unified Casero’s different offerings into an organized, attractive package. Additional marketing and promotional material followed, including an interactive sales demo for prospective clients.
This project involved the redesign of Michael Adams presentation graphics for his new book, Stayin' Alive. I spent time with the lead writer and developed the creation direction, researched all the graphics, and produced the 80 slide presentation for use during conferences, speechs and private presentations.
Under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator, I was given the task of producing brand guidelines and a range of design services for Family Service Toronto. In collaboration with another design studio, I put together 4 issues of the quarterly report, the Annual Report, environmental signage for the interior and exterior of the building, and codified their branding guidelines for future publications.
